RODABELL gates are designed to provide optimal flow control of molten aluminum throughout the casting line.
This product is also effective in preventing the flow of liquid aluminum into unwanted areas.
RODABELL offers 2 main product lines for flow control gates:
- Machined from calcium silicate boards
- Pre-cast form from fused silica
Rodabell gates are usually accompanied by an edge insert designed to house a ceramic cord. This cord
ensures the gate fits as closely as possible to the channel shape, thereby reducing the risk of unwanted liquid metal passage.
We have a technical department capable of developing any type of flow control gate not found in our catalogue.
